Our
Mission...Share God’s love, give
Him glory
“Our vision
is...in Christ, we will build healthy
relationships in our Church family and
community, meet needs, share Christ
and equip everyone to fulfill God’s
purpose.” |
| |
We Believe:
 |
|
The
chief end of all people is to
glorify God. |
 |
Anointed
teaching is the catalyst for transformation
in peoples’ lives. |
 |
All
people matter to God and therefore
must matter to the church. |
 |
The
calling of complete commitment
to Christ and His cause is for
every believer. |
 |
Christ-followers
should manifest authenticity and
long for continuous growth. |
 |
A
church should function as a unified
community of believers with all
people exercising their spiritual
gifts. |
 |
Loving
relationships should be a part
of every aspect of church life.
|
 |
Life
transformation happens best in
small groups. |
 |
In
the priority and awesome privilege
of prayer, both privately and
corporately. |
 |
Excellence
glorifies God and inspires people.
|
 |
The
church is to be led by those called
and gifted with leadership. |

Our
History
In the 1700’s, John Wesley,
founder of the Methodist movement,
lived and taught the message of
hope in Jesus Christ. He viewed
both his congregation and the
whole world as his parish. The
lives of hundreds of thousands
in England were transformed by
the life-giving power of faith
in Jesus Christ.
In
1860, a group of North American
Methodists renewed Wesley’s
vision to transform the world,
person by person through the message
of God’s saving grace, calling
themselves Free Methodists.
Free
Methodists are committed to the
authority of the Bible and to
the life of the Spirit. We seek
to allow God to shape our whole
lives – attitudes, thoughts
and relationships. Free Methodists
seek to help people find new life
in Christ and to live lives of
loving integrity. We are also
committed to the great Biblical
principle that all believers are
participants in God’s purposes.
Our church is eager to help people
discover how they can know God
and serve others in a meaningful
way and so bring about transformation
in our world. |
