  Outreach Ministries

Alpha Ministry is a 10-week course that teaches the basics of Christianity where guests are welcome to ask questions and explore the Christian faith in an unthreatening atmosphere. Alpha meets weekly with dinner, video and small groups. Whether you are questioning the meaning of life, seeking a better understanding of the Christian faith, desiring to meet people, or wanting to serve, consider participating in our next Alpha.

The goal of our Missions Ministry is to involve the congregation in community, national, and world evangelism. We direct financial support to a number of missions ministries; provide assistance, and keep the congregation aware of missions activity and needs.

Christmas Lane is a drive-thru living Nativity to enjoy the true meaning of Christmas. Enjoy dramatic scenes with actors in authentic costumes! This is our Christmas gift to the community to experience the true meaning of Christmas.

  Getting Connected

  Newcomers Gatherings:
The informal setting of sharing food and conversation together encourages adults, teens and children who are new to Trulls to become acquainted with ministry leaders and various ministries of the church. Newcomers gatherings offered at select times throughout the year.

Baptism:
Just as a wedding ring is an outward expression of marriage, Baptism is an outward expression of a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. If you have made a commitment to follow Christ as your savior and the leader of your life, then Scripture demonstrates Baptism is a vital next step for you. Celebrate your relationship with Christ in the company of your friends, family, and others who have decided to declare what Christ has done for them and what he means to you. Trulls Road offers Baptism classes & indoor immersion Baptism at select times throughout the year.

The Journey:
An eight week class for those interested in becoming members of Trulls Road Free Methodist Church examining the history, core values, beliefs, vision and mission of the Free Methodist Church in Canada and our local church. Other topics include the disciplines of Christian spiritual formation, how you are uniquely shaped to serve God and humankind and the privilege of sharing God’s message of reconciliation in your local community and the world. Classes are offered in January & October.

  Care Ministries

We are called to be active agents of Christ’s compassion.  Care Ministries offer guidance, encouragement and practical support to people within our church and community through the following ministries:

Benevolent Ministry: People within the church family experiencing a season of financial crisis or hardship are invited to explore the kind of support and resources available through the Benevolent Ministry. With confidentiality and care, the Benevolent Team reviews requests for assistance on an individual basis. The congregation of Trulls supports this practical ministry through regularly received offerings. For more information, please contact our Pastor of Care Ministries at the church office.

Visitation: Meaningful spiritual care and encouragement is extended to people whose circumstances find them hospitalized, institutionalized or at home. Personal visits, telephone calls, and provision of Lord’s Supper are offered.
